Stage Fire Ends Rihanna's Concert

Rihanna's Friday night performance in Dallas abruptly ended when a fire broke out on stage. The show, which was part of the singer's Loud tour, started off without a hitch until a light above the American Airlines stage caught on fire, NBC Dallas Fort-Worth reports.

Rihanna, who was decked out in a dazzling yellow dress, swiftly left the stage while the light was completely burning above her. According to reports, concert goers quickly headed away from the stage and toward the venue exits.

It is believed, by NBC Dallas Fort-Worth, that the stage fire may have started due to the concert's detailed and elaborate use of pyrotechnics. The fire was eventually put out by the Dallas Fire Rescue team.

Rihanna addressed the scary incident with a Twitter blast, noting, "DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I'm so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!" The singer also expressed that she was attending a meeting with her production team to find out the cause of the stage fire.

A serious pyrotechnic freak accident just popped off at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas.  And it left little red Rih Rih almost caught in FLAMES!

We’ve learned that immediately right after Rihanna performed "California King Bed" less than an hour ago, a pyrotechnic glitch caused sparks to go flying on the top of the stage.  Sparks started flying down hitting her piano and instruments, and she ran off the stage to avoid getting hit. 

Right then, a spark caught on to a curtain or wire, and a huge part of the stage literally went up in flames!  Firefighters and the fire marshal quickly hit the stage to put out the flames.

No one was hurt, but all concert goers were quickly ushered out of the arena.  Rih was about 75% of the way through her show.  And she’s skipping her usual post-show meet-n-greet session with VIP fans tonight and is heading straight to her next stop in Houston instead.

Yeah, we’d jet off too if our precious wig almost saw the gates to Jesus.

Cee-Lo Green Quits Rihanna’s “LOUD” Tour + L.A. Lakers Say YES To Ron Artest’s New “World Peace” Name

 

Cee-Lo Green has been removed–either by his own account or not–from Rihanna’s "LOUD" Tour for reasons not made clear to the public. 

Also, although the team was blindsided when Ron Artest went on "TMZ Live" to announce plans to change his name to "World Peace," the head honchos at the team office have agreed to the name change and say there is enough time to get the change made before next season.  Deets on both inside…..

Cee-Lo Green has been dropped from the Rihanna’s "LOUD" Tour. Although details are sketchy, it’s been said that there was a scheduling conflict. Also, some sources say Cee-Lo left to reunite with the Goodie Mob for a reunion album.  Either way, he’s outta there.

And in Sports….

In a move I hope won’t create a trend, the LA Lakers have agreed to let Ron Artest change the name on his official LA Lakers jersey to Metta World Peace.  And why?  Well…Ron says this name will have a big global impact. And he’s in the process of having his name leagally changed to Metta World Peace.

Maybe this is a good thing.  One day, we may have NBA ballers named "Wear Condoms" or "Marry Your Girlfriend Before You Get Her Pregnant" or "Stop Bullying."
