'Transformers 3' Takes Over the Box Office

transformers.jpg

"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" pulled in $116.4 million at the box office over the four-day Fourth of July weekend, bringing its total to $181.1 million since opening Tuesday night, according to AP.

The movie, the third installment in the robot franchise about a battle for Earth being waged by shape-shifting machines from another world, also added $217 million overseas, with a worldwide total of nearly $400 million.

Paramount Pictures estimated 60 percent of the box office grosses came from premium-priced 3D ticket sales, giving a boost to the lagging technology which had seen a wane in theater revenue in the last year.

Pixar's animated "Cars 2," which was on top last week, slipped considerably in its second weekend with $32.1 million. The Cameron Diaz comedy "Bad Teacher" dropped to third place with $14.1 million, and newcomer "Larry Crowne," a romantic comedy starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, opened in fourth with $13 million.

SPOTTED: Lauryn Hill, Her Baby Bump, And Rohan Marley Takes The Kids To See “Spiderman” On Broadway

Lauryn Hill was spotted at Spiderman, Turn Off The Dark on Broadway recently with her whole family.  And by whole family, we mean ALL the kids, the baby on the way AND Rohan Marley.  See "happy" family inside…

Maybe Rohan Marley was just in a bad mood when he got on Twitter and said he might not be the father of Lauryn Hill’s unborn child, but he did look like a happy father when they posed for pics recently. Lauryn and her belly are looking cute.

Then Rohan and Lauryn posed with cast members…

Hmm….so what’s REALLY hood Rohan?

Rihanna Takes Another Tumble Onstage (Video)

On her Loud tour this summer, Rihanna has been wowing crowds. And we're guessing thousands of Canadian fans thought, "Wow, what a pro," after she took a spill onstage this week.

Not that she missed a beat! The singer, 23, was striding across the Edmonton, Canada, stage in stiletto boots when she tumbled to the ground -- see video after the jump. She's had similar mid-concert mishaps in the past, which may be why she seemed perfectly confident about shrugging it off and continuing her song.

Meanwhile, her tourmate Cee Lo Green may not be falling down, but he is dropping out. After a Twitter controversy in which the 'F--- You' singer lashed out at a critic of his recent live performance, the Grammy winner has resigned as Rihanna's opening act.

After a show in Vancouver this weekend, Rihanna plays three dates in California next week. She may be perfectly happy to bid adieu to Canada, considering how peeved she was by an MTVCanada report alleging that she admitted provoking Chris Brown's notorious 2009 assault.

Here's Rihanna's clumsy moment (and graceful recovery) in Edmonton earlier this week:

WHOOPSIE! Rihanna Takes A Tumble On Stage

Rihanna took a little tumble Wednesday night during her concert in Edmonton, Canada.  In the middle of asking "What’s My Name?", she tripped and fell face forward on stage.

See how she played it off inside….

Chick played it off surprisingly well and got up, laughed it off, and kept it moving.  It happens to the best of ‘em….
