According to Us Weekly, the royal couple left Blachford Lake Lodge in the Northwest Territories Tuesday and canoed to Eagle's Island, a small, remote island known for its never-ending sunsets. The island is so far north that the sun only sets for a moment during the summer.
William reportedly planned the quick trip to the island for his new bride after their Canadian plans were in place.
The couple enjoyed three quiet hours together on the small island, which is home to several bald eagle nests. A chef made the pair a special dinner to enjoy by an open campfire, and included local fare like local cranberries, bannock break and caribou steaks.
The Brits are spending nine of their twelve days in North American trip touring Canada. They are headed to Calgary today before jetting to California on Friday for a weekend packed with polo matches and charity benefits.
