EVENT FAB: Taraji, Regina King & Others Hit Up 2011 LA Film Fest + 24th Annual ASCAP Awards Honor Diddy

Celebs headed to Cali yesterday for a number of events. The 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival hosted a screening of "Beats, Rhymes, and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest" at the John Anson Ford Ampithreate.

Meanwhile, hip hop mogul, Diddy, was being honored by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers for his impact and inspiration on fellow artists.  Read on for the pics…

Taraji P.Henson, Regina King, John Singleton and more were spotted at the Los Angles Film Festival Screening of "Beats, Rhymes, and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest.

Director of the film Michael Rapaport and actress Taraji P.Henson posed for a pic.

Taraji flirted with a cute summer look, pairing her white jeans with an off the shoulder floral top, and matching blue Hermes belt and wedges. Loves it.

Cute retro look.

Regina King and her toned body stopped by.

Director John Singelton also came out  to support the film.

Former Tribe Called Quest member Ali Shaheed Muhammad attended the screening.

Pretty girl Joy Bryant chatted it up with the film’s director.

Regina also posed for a pic with Michael.

Over in Beverly Hills, the top songwriters and producers of 2010 were honored at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards at the Beverly Hills Hilton. Ne-Yo, LeToya Luckett,  and Too Short are just a few of the artists who walked the red carpet.

Letoya Luckett looked pretty in a fitted watercolor dress, gold hoops and nude platform pumps.

And her skin and makeup looked great.

Melody Thorton’s look did absolutely nothing for her killer bod.

Ne-Yo hit the red carpet sans his hat. Really wish he wouldn’t have….

Actress Porscha Coleman posed for a pic.

ASCAP Honoree Diddy rocked a casual suited look.

Drizzy hit the stage to say some nice words about his Canadian producer friends and collaborators Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib.

Producer Suzanne de Pass and President/CEO Nel Portnow smiled for the cameras.

Too Short also stopped by.

Mike Epps’ wife, Michelle, came out to support the event.  Such a pretty face!

Congrats Diddy.
